Aloha! I’m Louis.
I’m a Honolulu-based art director and designer who’s always thinking big just as much as obsessing over tiny details.
My work is fueled by a lifelong fixation with pop culture, video games, fashion, and constantly asking why things look the way they do—which is really what gives my projects their specific point of view and polish.
Over the last decade, I’ve worked across a little bit of everything: print, web, video production, and pretty much every kind of styling ( wardrobe, prop, food, and even makeup artistry – you name it). I definitely live for the aesthetics, but I’m just as comfortable rolling up my sleeves for the rest of it. Whether it’s copywriting, casting, brand strategy, or project management—whatever a project needs to be its best, most beautiful self, I’ll make it happen, or I'll find the exact right people to help.
My work has been recognized by AIGA, the AAF, AdAge, the Pele Awards, and various local Hawai‘i magazines, among others.
I’m currently a Senior Designer at Sae Design Group. When I’m not there, I freelance as a makeup artist.
Let’s work together! 🤙
